About
I build where software, data, and product constraints meet.
01 / The short version
Judgment is a technical skill.
Three decades · production systems
I have been shipping production systems for three decades across banking, insurance, telecom, and government. That history is useful less as a credential than as a filter: it makes unnecessary abstraction, fragile demos, and architecture disconnected from the business harder to defend.
Today I build and ship products end to end: native iOS apps, public-data systems, AI products and tools for coding agents, from the first commit to the store listing. I move between mobile, backend, data platforms, edge infrastructure and teaching when the problem requires it.
Leadership shows up in the way a team gets clarity, makes a decision, and keeps moving. The recommendations on this site are the evidence; the projects are the current practice.
02 / A working range
Boundaries I cross.
Not a skills wall. These are the kinds of boundaries I am comfortable crossing.
Software engineering
Systems that survive contact with reality.
Data & analytics
Evidence, not decorative dashboards.
AI systems
Models inside useful constraints.
Mobile & local-first
The device is often the right boundary.
Cloud & edge
Deployments with guardrails.
